An Alberta Mountie won’t face criminal charges in the high-profile shooting deaths last March of a Native woman and her 9-year-old son.

Connie Jacobs, 37, and her son Ty died after RCMP responded to a domestic complaint in Tsuu T’ina, outside Calgary.

The Mountie claimed he acted in self-defence.

Jacob’s relatives condemned the decision. “There is no justice for my sister. I feelupset because the evidence in the report is that of the RCMP” said one.
