A new hotel is going up in Nemaska to keep pace with the booming construction going on there since the signing of the Paix des Braves agreement.

In order to better accommodate workers as well as an increase in tourism, Nemaska Development decided to construct a second hotel to go along with the already existing structure. The new hotel will have eight rooms, with two beds per room.

There are still a few things left to be done like installing the ventilation system, but it’s expected to be finished by early in the New Year.

Construction started in July, and will have taken five months to complete. The rough estimate of the final cost is said to be around $320,000.

The hotel is ideally situated near the entrance to the community.
