Cree recreation directors have appointed Chisasibi’s Dolores Audet-Washipabano as the newCree Zone Representative to sit on the regional board of “Hockey Abitibi-Témiscamingue ”and to represent all hockey players of the James Bay region.
Her mandate is for one year, starting June 11. Dolores writes:
Hi everyone!
Following my nomination as the Cree Zone Representative, I will try to do my best to make a positive and objective representation to Hockey Abitibi-Témiscamingue.
I will be available for any comments, suggestions, stories, questions, etc., which could help improve the quality of service that all of our hockey players in the region at all levels deserve.
I am also planning to start a Hockey News Column in The Nation where you would find all kinds of information related to hockey.
Again, I seek your help in providing me with any information concerning any news of your son or daughter, your community, our region, previous stories, scores…
