The Nation magazine has picked up a bucket full of nominations again this year from the Quebec Community Newspapers Association.
The magazine has been nominated for the Best Feature Page for a story Steve Bonspiel wrote about a women’s gathering of the Americas in Kahnawake.
Bonspiel picked up nominations in three categories, including Best Sports, Best Education and Best News.
Nation Editor Will Nicholls was nominated for Best General Editorial.
For a third year in a row the Nation has also won a Canadian Community Newspapers Association award. Danielle Valade picked up third place for Best Photo Essay (circulation 4000-12499) for her depiction of the annual Alouettes football camp in Mistissini.
