Five new special constables have been sworn in in Wemindji. For the first time in Iyiyuuschii, a municipal judge, Jacques Barbés of Val d’Or municipal court, presided over the ceremony.
The new constables are Caroline Weapinicappo, Sara-Lee Shashaweskum, Bradley Georgekish, Sean Blackned and Wade Brett Atsynia.
