The Nation sadly has to report the tragic passing of Richard Lebizay, 27, of Chisasibi. Readers would have recognized Richard as one of the two Air Creebec pilots featured in the back cover ad so often seen in our magazine.
Lebizay had worked for Air Creebec from July 1996 – September 2000. He then pursued his career with Air Transat.
His death occurred as the result of an automobile accident in Montreal on November 2, 2001. Memorial services were held in Chisasibi Tuesday, November 6.
All of us here wish to extend our heartfelt condolences to grieving family members, friends, and the community.
