After final election results were decided in a run-off vote held in July, Dr. Matthew Coon Come and Rodney Mark were inaugurated into their positions as Grand Chief and Deputy Grand Chief at this year’s GCC/CRA Annual General Assembly. Inauguration ceremonies were conducted in English and the acceptance speeches were delivered in Cree.
